Hot Chip è un gruppo musicale di elettro-pop e dance formato da cinque ragazzi nel 2000 a Londra. Fondato inizialmente da due giovani ragazzi cresciuti nella stessa scuola londinese, Alexis Taylor, cantante e tastierista, e Joe Goddard, cantante e percussionista, dopo il rilascio del primo Ep, il gruppo si apri a Owen Clarke, chitarrista, Al Doyle, chitarrista e percussionista, e Frelix Martin, fino a prendere la sua attuale forma.
